Evening of Bhakti – Saturday, June 29th @ 8pm

Looking for a fun way to celebrate the long weekend?
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a very special Evening of Bhakti this Saturday, June 29th (8pm to 10:30pm) and will be welcoming the Kishore Dancers and the Walking Monk!

Hailing all the way from Florida, the Kishore Dancers will bring the artistic element of dance to our kirtan-filled evening.  The group of 30 young girls, mostly aged in their early teens, have been travelling around North America and will be making a special visit to Toronto this weekend.  They will present beautiful dances that will capture your heart!

Also joining us, once again, will be The Walking Monk – Bhaktimarga Swami. Currently in the midst of his fourth cross-Canada walk, the Swami will share from his decades of experiences in bhakti.

Hosted at beautiful Govinda’s Dining Hall in Toronto’s historic Hare Krishna Centre (243 Avenue Road at Roxborough/Dupont), we warmly invite you for an evening that will feed the mind, body and soul!

While we have all become accustomed to seeing the typical images that are conjured up when we think of yoga, it can be an heart-opening experience to learn of bhakti-yoga – the yoga of love.

We invite you to come and dive into an evening full of divine chants as you learn more about the ancient teachings of the yoga of the heart. The premise of the “Evening of Bhakti” is to hold a spiritually-soaked event for you.

Whether you are completely new to the concept of bhakti-yoga or a seasoned veteran, you can expect an incredible evening of chanting, wisdom, dancing and more, followed by a vegan dinner.

Free Admission – Donations Accepted.

Looking forward to meeting you on Saturday, June 29th! Please note the new starting time of 8pm. See you there!
