Canadian devotional chant artist Brenda McMorrow is known for her unique and warmly embracing style of mantra music, in which she blends elements of acoustic folk and world rhythms, with a sweetly introspective singer-songwriter’s sensibility. As Ram Dass has said: “Brenda has a gift”; her music has been touching people’s hearts worldwide. With 3 celebrated devotional chant albums, Brenda is a featured artist on the White Swan Records roster, a Colorado label well known for its high-profile yoga-inspired artists like Deva Premal. @ Aeolian Performing Arts Center – 795 Dundas Street East, London, ON

Brenda McMorrow and Seva Fisher have teamed up to present a very special afternoon workshop based on The Ramayana epic story of the adventures of Rama, Sita and Hanuman. Come and learn mantras (pronunciation and meaning), chant to Brenda’s live music, listen to highlights from The Ramayana story and discuss what spiritual lessons it holds for us to apply in our own lives today. You will come away with a booklet to continue your own spiritual practice with these mantras and chants.
This workshop runs from 1:30 to 4:00, and requires advance registration by noon on Friday Sept 25.

Brenda is thrilled to be back in London for the first time in two years after a world-wide tour spanning Asia, Europe and Latin America! Come and experience an evening of joyful, high-energy music as Brenda celebrates the release of her newest CD.
We’ll be riding an energy wave from that night’s full moon eclipse as we sing along with Brenda and musicians Morgan Doctor (percussion), Shannon Kingsbury (vocals and harmonium), Chris Gartner (bass), and London’s own Allison Menegoni (vocals).
