AN EVENING OF KIRTAN WITH LANA SUGARMAN
8pm (Doors Open at 7:30pm)
Enjoy an evening of soothing sounds, groovy beats, and sacred song with Lana and her fellow musicians. Having led kirtan in studios throughout Toronto and beyond, Lana is now releasing her debut album, *Invocation*.
Come out and celebrate the official launch of the CD and raise your voices in song!
Kirtan is the practice of call and response chanting. A form of Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of devotion) it offers both an uplifting and healing effect. Sanskrit mantras merge with melody to create sweet vibrations. Kirtan is a beautiful opportunity for people to come together to share their voices and meditate through music.
No previous experience required, just a love for music! Using your voice is encouraged, but please feel free to come be in the space, relax, and listen to the sounds we create.
$ 20 + HST in advance, by August 23, OR
$ 25 + HST on August 24/at the door
